The impact of Covid-19 on our society will mark our lives forever. In just a few days, it has disrupted our ways of living, working, consuming and interacting with each other.

Companies, as economic players in society, have crucial responsibilities in this context: to tackle the confinement situation the best way possible through solidarity and concern, and to ensure we are equipped and prepared to relaunch economic activities post-crisis.

The “rules of the game” in the post-pandemic society are not clear yet. In order to plan the future, there is a real need for collaboration on this major issue.

Co.Station wishes to assemble 20 companies cross-industry around 3 pillars to jointly work on cases and learnings to be implemented in the post-pandemic society:

What is the purpose of our companies and in the end the workers?

The organisations that align their efforts around shared visions, missions, ambitions and values with their workers, will be able to generate a positive systemic impact. These organisations, whether they are private or public, will experience higher engagement of their workers, which in turn will trigger effort, motivation and performance.

What are the roles of the private and public authorities?

One expects now from governments: maintain the purchasing power; protect the treasury of the companies; ensure the supply of basic needs, and guarantee access to a functioning health system.

But, what are the responsibilities that corporates are willing to take over to share the increasing burden of governments to overcome this crisis?

What is the impact of digitalisation on the ways of working and leadership?

COVID-19 is becoming the accelerator for one of the greatest digital workplace transformations.

Need to accommodate new working processes and new digital and soft skills.

Also, the massive increase in unemployment will force organisations (public and private) to be creative in creating jobs and developing new skills.
